Bibliographies
Updated November 2010
All resources on these lists are accessible to a general audience, but the entries inside the documents below that are followed by an [S] denote that they were mainly written for a scholarly audience.
These guides provide bibliographic information for books, book chapters, and scholarly articles. Although not exhaustive, they provide starting points by including the most useful sources for both beginning researchers and experienced scholars. Some pieces with older publication dates may seem outdated, but are included because the information they provide has heavily influenced more recent writers and are seen as key texts in the field. Also, keep in mind that many of the books are edited volumes, and thus contain a wide range of topics within the individual chapters.
