In ancient times (3000 years ago) a mosaic was made from glass and rock. Modern times (a few hundred years ago) began the art of wooden mosaic developed in Damascus, Syria. This mosaic art form uses mother of pearl, walnut, rose, lemon, peach & other woods in intricate geometric designs (called Arabesque).
Celebrate the passage of time with this traditional mosaic inlaid wood veneer wall clock. Created in Syria it will complement any décor. It is 10 1/2" hexagon wood with black hands, red second hand, quartz movement, and 3/4" black numerals and will add a bit of old world charm with a contemporary flair to any room. Can be hung from the tiny hanger attached to the back. Requires 1 AAA battery, not included.
