Product Details for Mosaic Frame - Inlaid Veneer

In ancient times (3000 years ago) a mosaic was made of glass and rock.  Modern times (a few hundred years ago) began the art of wooden mosaic developed in Damascus, Syria. This mosaic art form in veneer uses mother of pearl along with woods of walnut, rose, lemon, peach and others.  This tradtional frame will fit a 5 X 7 inch print/picture.
