The Visitor Free Screening and Dinner

All are invited to take part in the Night of 1,000 Conversations with a free screening of the critically acclaimed 2008 film The Visitor by writer/director Tom McCarthy (The Station Agent) followed by a free dinner and discussion. The event begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 24 at the Arab American National Museum.

The Visitor stars Richard Jenkins (Six Feet Under) as Walter Vale, a man sleepwalking through life until he meets Tarek, a Syrian immigrant who teaches him to play the African drum. When Tarek is stopped in the subway and arrested as an undocumented immigrant, Walter finds himself compelled to help his new friend.
