“Let us balance our sentiments with a sense of objectivity. Let us not allow our sentiments deteriorate into self-pity, praise or story-telling. These are characteristics of the weak. What we should strive for is performance. In our contemporary world, performance has weight. It takes a competitive nature. We have to compete in war, politics, art and science; we have to prove our capabilities through honest thinking, feeling and acting.”
